Mr. Francis Merjudio is a registered nurse and information technologist by profession, with years of relevant healthcare, technology, and project management work experience. He was a former Vice Chair for Communications of the Informatics Nurses Society of the Philippines, Inc. Mr. Merjudio is currently taking up Master of Science in Health Informatics at the University of the Philippines Manila. He has conducted a number of seminars on digital healthcare in the Philippines, nursing informatics, and mobile medical applications in emergency medicine.
Clarabelle P. Floresca, MD, FPCEM
About the speaker
Dr Clarabelle Floresca is an Emergency physician who has accomplished multiple trainings both locally and abroad.
She was a former chairperson and member of the Philippine Board of Emergency Medicine, has worked as a medical officer in Canterbury Hospital in Australia where she acquired an employee excellence award. She was a consultant at FEU, Makati Medical Center and Asian Hospital Medical Center. With regards to the topic today, she has done her training in Aviation Medicine at European School of Aviation in Frankfurt, Germany and finished her Emergency Medicine Crisis Management Course in Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney Australia. She is currently the Aero-medical expert at International SOS Inc, Philippines.
Rafael Henry E. Legaspi, MD
About the speaker
Dr. Rafael Legaspi, is graduate of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, where he obtained his biology and medical degrees. He then completed his post-graduate internship in Philippine General Hospital. This is where he also took his residency for General Adult Psychiatry and completed just this 2021. He also has published papers regarding mental health among health professionals and conducts seminars on mental health and also on addiction science. Currently he is a Senior Fellow of the Division of Addiction Medicine of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, UP-PGH.
Robert Gerard O. Kelemen, FPPA
About the speaker
Dr Robert Gerard Kelemen is a physician and has done his residency training in General Psychiatry at Philippine General Hospital from 2012-2014. Since 2021 up to the present, Dr. Kelemen is the Assistant Training Officer of the Psychiatry Residency Program in Mariveles Mental Wellness and General Hospital located in Bataan. He has also been an evaluator and expert witness for patients with court cases admitted in the said hospital since 2016. Dr. Kelemen also is an active consultant in The Mind Institute Clinic in San Juan City and Mary Chiles General Hospital, Inc. in Sampaloc, Manila. Dr. Robert has also conducted numerous seminars regarding his expertise; to name a few seminars, we have “’Usapang Mental Health’ A Mental Health Talk for Health Care Workers” and “Are you OK? A Dialogue on Mental Health Awareness”.
Joselito C. Pascual, MD, M. Sc., FPSCOT, FRSA
About the speaker
Dr. Joselito “Jojo” Pascual is a psychiatrist who has a subspeciality in the field of Toxicology and Addiction Medicine, with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. He graduated from St. Louis University in Baguio earning his bachelor’s and medical degree, then continued to specialize in Adult Psychiatry and Toxicology at Philippine General Hospital. Doc Jojo then earned his Master’s in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addiction in Kings College, University of London.
At present, he is toxicologist consultant at the National Poison Management and Control Center (NPMCC) of the UP-PGH, Head of the Section of Toxicology at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Makati Medical Center, and Head of the country’s first ever Division of Addiction Medicine at UP-PGH.
